All compounds are synthesized by ISO-audited peptide manufacturing partners using solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS). Every batch is lyophilized under nitrogen, sealed in amber borosilicate vials, and quarantined pending third-party analysis before it is released to inventory.

How do you verify purity?

Every lot is analyzed by an independent laboratory using reverse-phase HPLC for purity (≥99%) and mass spectrometry (MS) for mass confirmation. Certificates of Analysis are lot-matched and available on request; endotoxin and residual-solvent screening is performed on request for institutional orders.

How are orders shipped and stored in transit?

Orders ship in insulated mailers with reusable ice packs via expedited courier. Lyophilized peptides are stable at ambient temperature for the duration of shipping, but we cold-chain by default to preserve long-term potency. You should receive your parcel within 2–5 business days depending on destination.

What is your return and reshipment policy?

Because these are controlled research materials, all sales are final once a vial has been opened. If a shipment arrives damaged, or if a Certificate of Analysis fails to match the vial, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and lot numbers and we will reship or refund at no cost.

Handling & storage

How should lyophilized peptides be stored?

Unreconstituted vials should be stored at −20 °C in the dark; short-term storage at 2–8 °C is acceptable for up to 60 days. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, peptides should be kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C and used within the timeframe stated on the product page (typically 14–30 days).

What should peptides be reconstituted with?

Bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl-alcohol saline) is the standard diluent for most research peptides. Copper peptides (e.g. GHK-Cu) and certain hydrophobic sequences require sterile water for injection or a specific vehicle noted on the product page. Never use tap water, hydrogen peroxide, or non-sterile solutions.

How do you determine a research dose?

Dosing in a research setting is derived from published literature, molecular weight, and the specific model system in use. Sacred Peptides does not publish human dosing guidelines, and our staff are not permitted to advise on personal use. Refer to the primary literature cited on each product page.

How long do lyophilized peptides remain stable?

Under recommended storage (−20 °C, protected from light), most sequences retain ≥98% purity for 24 months. Reconstituted peptides are subject to hydrolysis and oxidation and should be assumed to lose 1–2% activity per week at 4 °C.
